FROM LOCAL AIRPORTS TO METRO (SUBWAY)

TO/FROM BALTIMORE/WASHINGTON INTL. AIRPORT: Metro now offers BWI Express Metro bus service between BWI and the Greenbelt metro station. The service provides a direct connection between BWI and the Greenbelt Metro Station. The BWI Express/B30 service runs every 40 minutes, 7 days a week to the Greenbelt Metro Station, which is located on the Green Line of the Washington Metro System. Buses run 25 times each weekday and 21 times on Saturdays and Sunday, every 40 minutes. For more information call 202-637-7000 or go to www.wmata.com.

Catch the BWI Express from BWI Marshall Airport. There are two WMATA Bus Stops. One is located on the lower level of the International Concourse and the other stop is located on the lower level of Concourse A/B. The B30 will pick you up outside at the bus shelter. Follow the signs that say "Public Transit."

The Greenbelt Metro Station connects to Metro Stations throughout Washington, DC, Virginia, Montgomery and Prince Georges Counties. A route map and schedule is available now on Metro's website, www.wmata.com.

From Greenbelt Metro station, take a green line train going in the direction of Branch Ave. At L'Enfant Plaza transfer to a yellow line train in the direction of Huntington. To get to the host hotel, get off the Metro at the King Street station. Walk a block south, cross King Street, go one short block, turn right and the Westin Alexandria is on the left.

 

TO/FROM DULLES WASHINGTON INTL. AIRPORT: The Washington Flyer transfer bus connects to the DC Metrorail Orange line at West Falls Church station, the closest option. The Washington Flyer bus from the airport runs every 30 minutes from 5:45 a.m. to 10:15 p.m. weekdays and 7:45 a.m. to 10:15 p.m. weekends. Journey time from the airport to West Falls Church station is 20-30 minutes. Tickets can be purchased at the ticket counter located near Door 4 of the main terminal Arrivals level.

The Washington Flyer bus to the airport runs every 30 minutes from 6:15 a.m. to 10:45 p.m. weekdays and 8:15 a.m. to 10:45 p.m. weekends. Journey time from West Falls Church station to the airport is 20-30 minutes. Tickets available on board the bus.

The transfer bus fare is $10 one way, $18 round trip.

From West Falls Church Metro station, take an orange line train going in the direction of New Carrollton. At Rosslyn transfer to a blue line train in the direction of Franconia-Springfield. To get to the host hotel, get off the Metro at the King Street station. Walk a block south, cross King Street, go one short block, turn right and the Westin Alexandria is on the left.

 

TO/FROM RONALD REAGAN WASHINGTON NATIONAL AIRPORT: The airport is directly accessible by Metro. Take either a blue line train in the direction of Franconia-Springfield OR a yellow line train in the direction of Huntington. To get to the host hotel, get off the Metro at the King Street station (just two Metro stops away from the airport station). Walk a block south, cross King Street, go one short block, turn right and the Westin Alexandria is on the left.
